Friday October 30, students may wear school appropriate Halloween costumes . Students may be asked to remove masks if they interfere with learning, seeing the board clearly. If your child will not be able to stay in the costume all day, please send an extra change of clothes. I hope to post some pictures tomorrow!

The leaves are beautiful, the weather crisp, and fall has arrived at Roachdale Elementary. Enjoy the doors decorated by our staff. Great job everyone!!
For parents who are participating in the meal pick up service, the new hours will be 1:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. still at Door 1 at North Putnam High School.

Next week is College Go Week for schools around the state. We will have several activities including dress up days. Here is the list of dress up days for next week...
Monday – Hats off to College Awareness Week! Wear a hat - college if possible.
Tuesday – Follow Your dreams! Wear your pajamas or college spirit wear.
Wednesday--Your future starts now! Wear school gear or school colors (Orange and Navy)!
Thursday – Your Future is So Bright! Wear neon!
Friday --College Spirit Day! Wear something representing your favorite college or university!

We are excited to partner with our Food Service provider, Chartwells, to bring a USDA sponsored program to our families where ALL students will receive FREE lunch and breakfast if they choose to eat at school. This program will run through Dec. 31, 2020 and begins today! More information will be coming about how we are safely preparing lunches and options for our virtual students.
