Roachdale Elementary celebrates Mrs. Moore for her outstanding achievement. She successfully completed the Indy 500 Mini Marathon last weekend. Mrs. Moore demonstrated remarkable dedication and perseverance throughout the event.
As we reflect on this school year, we recognize the invaluable contributions of our principal, Bridget McCormick. Her leadership has been instrumental in guiding us through the year, especially as she navigates her first year in this role. We are truly grateful to have her as part of our team.

Primary students learned about living with a disability from Zailey McDonald. She shared her experiences, explaining that she can accomplish anything, but she approaches tasks in her own unique way.

Due to possible weather coming in this evening, North Putnam Community Schools will be using caution and postponing all events scheduled for this evening (December 11, 2024) including athletic practices. The Winter programs will be rescheduled as follows: Middle School/High School program will be December 17 at 6:30 p.m. Bainbridge Elementary will be December 18. Kindergarten at 5:30 p.m. first and second grade at 6:30 p.m. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe.

Bus 12 (Tyna Dillon) will not have a driver this afternoon. All students who transfer buses at the high school will ride Bus 20.
For students who are part of the regular route, we are asking that parents call the school and make other arrangements for pick up this afternoon.
If arrangements are not made, a late bus will run if needed. Please be advised students will be dropped off at a much later time.

We have had an amazing response for our Glow Dance this afternoon. Please see the information below so that we can have students picked up in the safest way possible.
Parents, please park in the parking lot and wait behind the yellow curb.
The dance ends promptly at 5:00.
Students will be released by grade level, beginning with Kindergarten, just like they are for daily pick up. Wait behind the yellow curb and once your student sees you, we will send him/her over to you.

Last week was filled with Halloween festivities and fall parties, where students had fun dressing up. We also celebrated our Honor Roll students with a special breakfast for them and their parents.
Today marked the conclusion of our Red Ribbon Spirit Week. Many students came together wearing red to show their commitment to being drug-free.
Mrs. Brown's class had a great time listening to and chatting with Mrs. McDonald's husband, who works at the Plainfield Fire Department.
Students wore crazy socks and had crazy hair today to celebrate being drug-free. The student council also decorated the fence. " From head to toe, we are Drug Free."
Roachdale Elementary students and teachers are participating in National Red Ribbon Week. "Cowboy-up Against Drugs," encouraging students to live a drug-free life.
