Summer Meal Program:
Meals are Free from May 30-June 30 for Breakfast and Lunch at NPMS. We are open to the public. 18 and under are Free. Adults for a small fee. If we get enough participation we may extend through July.

Teacher Appreciation Week begins this week at Bainbridge Elementary, and there will be special "spirit days" throughout the week to celebrate our amazing teachers. Thank you teachers for all that you do.

Mr. Kiger and Mr. Wireman from the Mary Allison Children's Trust presented three Bainbridge Elementary staff members with an award and recognition for their positive contributions to our school. A HUGE congratulations goes out to 5th grade teachers, Mr. Kevin Lutes and Mrs. Laura Martin, and Instructional Assistant, Margie Zimmerman, as they were honored yesterday with these awards. We are so appreciative of these individuals, and all that they do for our students and staff at Bainbridge Elementary. Also, thank you very much goes out to the Mary Allison Children's Trust for recognizing these individuals.

The Kids Heart Challenge is off and running at Bainbridge Elementary today. The Heart Challenge focuses on whole body wellness, and helps students improve their own health.
The Bainbridge Elementary Student Council in conjunction with Roachdale Elementary will be holding a book drive until May 5, 2023 for the students attending Sullivan Elementary. Many families were affected by the recent tornadoes that tore through that community, and we would like to do something to help them through this difficult time. We are requesting NEW BOOKS ONLY for this Book Drive. Please help us put at least one new book in the hands of each student at Sullivan Elementary. New books can be delivered to Bainbridge Elementary and the student council has created a box that they will go into. Thank you very much!
Full Scale Safety Drill:
North Putnam Schools along with the Putnam County Emergency Operations Center are performing a full scale active shooter exercise Saturday, April 8 on the campus of North Putnam High/Middle School. This is a full scale exercise and will include first responder agencies from Putnam and surrounding counties including Lifeline and other air ambulance services. The exercise provides North Putnam with the ability to train our safety plan, and assist first responders in how to respond to this type of devastating event. The NPHS/NPMS campus will be closed to the public most of Saturday in order to keep everyone safe.
It appears the storms took out the server for the MyStop app and the bus tablets. We are working to get it back on.
Pettit Photography will be at Bainbridge Elementary for a short period of time tomorrow (Thursday, March 30th) to have a makeup day for Spring Pictures for any students that might still want to get spring pictures. Students must have an order envelope even if you order online to have their spring picture taken. Please see the flyer for more details.

Baseball season is right around the corner! The last registration event for North Putnam Youth Baseball is tonight (Wednesday, March 1), from 6-8pm in the North Putnam Middle School Commons. If your child is interested in playing t-ball up through 12U baseball, be sure to register them before draft day. Draft Day will be held on Sunday, March 5. "Read Across America Week" begins on Monday, February 27th at Bainbridge Elementary. We will have special spirit days through the week to commemorate "Read Across America Week and to celebrate Dr. Seuss' Birthday."
