The Bainbridge Elementary 5th Graders had their celebration walk today. We are definitely going to miss this group of students, and we wish them nothing but the best in middle school.

Today was "bike day" at Bainbridge Elementary for classes that reached their goal for the 2nd grade Philanthropy project which was titled, "Help us build our school rock garden." A huge thank you goes out to the 2nd grade team, our volunteers, and Mrs. Hensley for organizing today's event. Also, thank you to the Indiana State Police to help with bike safety for today as well.

Happy Speech and Language Pathologist Day! Thank you very much for all that you do for our students, Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Atwood.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! Thank you so much for all that you do at Bainbridge Elementary. We LOVE our teachers!

Teacher Appreciation Week begins this week (May 5th - May 9th) at Bainbridge Elementary, and there will be special "spirit days" throughout the week to celebrate our amazing teachers. A HUGE thank you goes out to all of our teachers for all that they do.

Today in Mrs. Rambis' 1st grade classroom, they are having a "Camp Read A Lot" day. The students will be enjoying a day full of reading and other "fun" camp out traditions.

Today is National School Lunch Hero Day, and Bainbridge Elementary would like to recognize our school cafeteria workers. These individuals work hard everyday to serve our students their meals for breakfast and lunch. A HUGE thank you goes out to Kaitlynn Hall, Autumn Wilson, and Jordan Wood for all their hard work in our cafeteria.

Mrs. Parent's 4th grade class had two very special guests today. Mr. Morgan and Mr. Bender from the North Putnam High School Social Studies department came over to Bainbridge Elementary to talk about the history of the Titanic. The students were beyond enthralled with Mr. Morgan's Titanic Lego replica. The students have worked so diligently researching and learning about the Titanic this week, and it was the PERFECT way for our students to show them what they have learned and to see a scale model of the ship. Thank you so much Mr. Morgan and Mr. Bender!

Teacher Appreciation Week begins next week (May 5th - May 9th) at Bainbridge Elementary, and there will be special "spirit days" throughout the week to celebrate our amazing teachers. A HUGE thank you goes out to all of our teachers for all that they do.

A HUGE congratulations goes out to the Bainbridge Elementary 2nd graders for winning the Putnam County Community Foundation Youth Philanthropy initiative. These 2nd grade students want to build a rock garden at Bainbridge Elementary to create a peaceful and creative space for everyone. They have been planning, brainstorming, creating posters, organized a school-wide coin drive, doing all the necessary work needed for this project to be successful, and today they were named the winners of this philanthropy initiative. These 2nd graders won an additional $1000 to help with their goal of creating a school rock garden. Congratulations 2nd graders, and we are so proud of you!

Happy Administrative Professional's Day, Mrs. Watson and Mrs. Franklin!

Today the Bainbridge Elementary Media Center received a very generous donation from the Evans family on behalf of Patricia Evans. Patricia was a very proud mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who recently passed away. Patricia was well known around the school, she would walk students to school from the Town of Bainbridge as well as volunteer to read to children during the day. Thank you to Evans family for thinking of the Bainbridge Elementary Media Center for this very thoughtful donation. We really appreciate it!
