Our 5th grade went on a field trip to Hummel Park in Plainfield last week. They had the best fun going fishing!!
The 5th grade classes from Bainbridge and Roachdale Elementary Schools visited North Putnam Middle School this morning. This is their first official class picture together.
The 4th graders had an amazing time last Friday as they got to step back in time and see what life was like in the 1800s.
At Roachdale Elementary, students had an amazing day filled with pizza, spending time with friends, playing games, and celebrating the love of reading.
We tried a new location for our third grade field trip this year. Students went to the Indiana State Museum. It looks like another fun, learning adventure.

Dr. Goodman, a pediatrician at Riley Hospital for Children, spoke to our 3rd-5th grade this week. Dr. Goodman has Treacher Collins Syndrome, one of the
conditions that Auggie Pullman has in the book “Wonder” by R.J. Palacio. Dr. Goodman's shared about his life and the importance of kindness, making good choices, self-control, self-confidence, equity, inclusion, and anti-bullying. We always appreciate having Dr. Goodman visit Roachdale Elementary.
Our 5th grade robotics club is underway for this year and they are learning a lot about building and programming as well as team skills of goal setting, collaboration, and decision-making.
A little fun to end our week last week. Our teachers put on a skit for our students. It is so much fun to engage with our students in a different way and show our sense of humor as well. Thanks to all of the staff participants!
Community partners are so important to our schools and we have some great ones!!
Today the Putnam Mental Health Association and PIE Coalition brought their Puppet Power to our K-2 students. They focus on making good decisions, how to react toward bullies, and stranger awareness.
Another great STEM experience for our Roachdale students! They are using VR to explore space.
We are so proud of our Math Bowl Team! They earned 4th place in the Math Bowl Competition last eve. GREAT JOB!!
