After graduation she intends to continue her employment at Wal~Mart and would like to volunteer at the animal shelter, in hopes of one day starting a food stand. Aly would like to thank Ms. Goldberg and Miss Dee for helping her. She would also like to thank Kayleigh for all her support and Mr. V. for making her laugh.

Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Lexi Daigle. Lexi is the daughter of Terri and Chris Daigle. After graduation she intends to enroll at Purdue University for exploratory studies. She would like to thank her parents for always believing in her and supporting her throughout the years. She also wants to thank her brother and sister for always being there for her and cheering her on. She also would like to thank her friends for being the best friends she could have asked for. She wants to thank her teachers and classmates for the many lessons and memories she will carry on throughout her life. Lastly she would like to thank her coaches for pushing her and keeping her up when she was down. She says, "Thank you for the endless support over the years."

North Putnam High School recently earned the distinguished INDIANA GPS Badge for Graduation Pathways Completion for the class of 2023. NPHS is the only school in Putnam County to receive this distinguished badge.

Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Megan Ramirez. Megan is the daughter of Natalie and David Little. After graduation she intends to enroll at Saint-Mary of the Woods and pursue a nursing degree. She would like to specialize in Nicu and Pediatric Care.
Megan would like to shout out her brother Juan, Aunt Niki Turner, and her grandma, Jackie Holowka. She would like to thank her mom and dad for being her biggest fans, her brother, Juan for being her best friend and helping her through her academic journey.

North Putnam Theater Troupe is preparing the spring musical "The Wizard of Oz". High School Auditions are February 12th - 5:30; and Middle School Auditions are February 13th - 5:30, both in the auditorium.
Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Chloee Livingston. Chloee is the daughter of Ryan and Jenna Livingston. After graduation she intends to enroll at Grace College to study elementary education. She would also like to thank her parents, siblings, and family for their love and support. She would also like to thank her FFA advisors for pushing her out of her comfort zone and helping her become the best version of herself. Finally, she wants to thank all of the teachers and staff who impacted and inspired her. We are proud of Chloee and hope to see her in a future NPCSC classroom working with the next leaders!

Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Kaydence Simmerman. Kaydence is the daughter of Dustin Simmerman and Katherine Parker. Kaydence is a midyear graduate and plans to continue working at Bonnets and Bears Childcare. Eventually she would like to return to Ivy Tech to complete early childcare courses to become a preschool teacher. Kaydence would like to thank her parents for loving her and teaching her. Kaydence is going to be a wonderful early childhood educator, and we are excited to see her continue to grow in this field.

Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Randi Carpenter. Randi is the daughter of Kevin and Carolyn Carpenter, and Stephanie Carpenter and Terry Dowers. Randi graduated in December and plans to work to save money for college to start at Ivy Tech in the fall.

She will also be continuing her track and field career at SMWC. She would also like to thank her mom and dad for raising me to be the strong woman she is today. No school Monday as we recognize Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
North Putnam students, in the first semester of 2023-2024, earned 744 Dual Credits from Ivy Tech Community College. These 744 awarded credits represent a potential savings of over $126,000 to our families. To put this into perspective, during the entire 2022-2023 school year, NPHS students earned 663.5 credits. These numbers are from our partnership with Ivy Tech. NP students also have the opportunity to earn dual credits from Indiana University, Vincennes University, and through Advanced Placement coursework.
Our students have great opportunities to earn dual credits and credentials through our various programs. We look forward to continued growth in this area and more students earning the Indiana College Core, College Credentials, and Industry Certifications.

As our students, faculty, and staff leave NPHS for the last time in 2023, weeks would like to share with you the 2023 Holiday Card. This year's card was created by NPHS sophomore Camryn Riggle. Camryn is the daughter of Aaron and Nikki Riggle of Roachdale. Camryn designed this card in Mr. Brooks' Digital Design class.
Earlier this week our Band and Choir held their winter concert. Our kids and directors did such a good job. They performed in front of a packed house!
Congratulations Chloee Livingston for being named the DAR Good Citizen for North Putnam High School. Chloee is the daughter of Ryan and Jenna Livingston and represents what it means to be a Good Citizen at NPHS! Congratulations Chloee!!
