On this cold day, we are prepping for Spring! Students are learning how to correctly plant seeds.
We are excited to start Semester 2 on Wednesday!
For those students who missed Finals, please plan to come in tomorrow, Tuesday, between 8:00 and 2:00 to complete missed finals.
Grade reports will be issued on Friday.
Today during lunch, NPHS students enjoyed decorating and then eating some Holiday Cookies to relax a little from the stress of final exams. A special thank you goes out to our Chartwells Cafeteria Team that baked our Holiday Cookies for our students. #CougarNation #Reconnect
This morning at approximately 7:40 it was reported over the radio by a school bus driver that there was a gun on the bus. Safety protocols were followed, no students or adults were in danger at any time, and all students were delivered to school safely.
The student was a lower elementary student who told another student he had a gun in his backpack. That student followed training and reported immediately to the bus driver who controlled the situation. As it turns out, the gun was a broken airsoft gun. Kudos to the students on the bus who did as they were taught and especially to the bus driver who handled the situation calmly and safely.

All North Putnam Schools will be releasing on-time, and everything will go on as "normal." All after-school activities will be on-time and go on as "normal" as well. Thank you very much and we hope that everyone has a wonderful rest of their day.
NPHS Administration is aware of the situation in Bainbridge involving the Tri-County Bank. Putnam County Dispatch is communicating with NPCSC administration, and at this time NPHS is in a Security Level 2. This means students and staff remain in the building, and school continues as normal. We are monitoring the situation and we will take further action if so warranted.

All North Putnam Schools will be on time as usual this morning.
There was a widespread power outage this morning for most if not all of our community. Power is back on in all of our schools and most areas. We will be on time this morning with the buses running their regular schedule.
