The 2022 District VII FFA Convention was held at North Putnam for the first time in eight years on Friday, April 1. The event was organized by the 2021-2022 Indiana FFA District VII Officer Team, led by North Putnam seniors Jayden Simpson and Seth Ariens, serving as the District President and Vice President.
Eleven North Putnam FFA members competed in Leadership Development Events. Notable results include district winners Jayden Simpson - Leadership Ambassador LDE, Seth Ariens - Prepared Public Speaking LDE, Ruby Sullivan - Extemporaneous Speaking LDE, Brant Sheldon - Exhibit, District runners-up Seth Ariens - Agricultural Sales Presentation, Atticus South - Discovery Degree Extemporaneous Speaking, and District third place winners Seth Ariens and Brant Sheldon - Agriculture Mechanics Demonstration and Ruby Sullivan - Essay.
